Cat Wedding is a destination wedding film studio based in Italy. We work with couples who choose their venue with the same care they choose their rings — and want a film that lives up to it.
Our approach in three words
Cinematic
Composed frames, intentional camera moves, colour graded the way a feature film is graded. Not a long montage of clips — a film with rhythm and structure.
Aesthetic
Discreet on the day, deliberate in the edit. Soft natural light, clean audio, no slow-mo confetti shots, no overcompressed reels. Beauty without performance.
Timeless
No music trends, no short-lived effects. A film you can rewatch in ten years without flinching at a transition. Made to age well.
Who we work with
Couples planning a destination wedding in Italy or elsewhere — typically with venues like a private villa in Tuscany, a Lake Como estate, an Amalfi Coast cliffside, an Apulian masseria, a Sicilian baglio, a Sardinian seaside villa, a Venetian palazzo, or a Roman setting. International ceremonies, mixed cultural traditions, multi-day celebrations, intimate elopements: we're comfortable across the whole range, in Italy, the rest of Europe, and worldwide on request.
Our couples tend to value the long view. They're investing in art, jewellery, photography from people whose work they genuinely admire. The film is part of that conversation — not a checkbox.
How we work
Coverage is documentary-led. We don't pose you, we don't stage walks "for the camera", we don't ask you to repeat your first kiss. The day happens; we film it with intention. The cinematography is what we control; the moments belong to you.
For complex events (multi-location, multi-day, mixed languages, large guest counts) we work in two-person crews by default, with optional drone (flown by an ENAC-licensed pilot), second-day editorial coverage, and same-day teaser delivery on request. Smaller or more intimate weddings can be covered by a single filmmaker, with the natural trade-offs in coverage discussed transparently in the proposal.
Behind the brand
Cat Wedding is the international wedding film line of Impronta Creativa S.n.c., a creative studio based in Perugia (Umbria, Italy). The studio was founded in 2011 and has been producing wedding cinema since 2016 under the brand Cinemarry, with hundreds of weddings filmed across Italy and Europe. Cat Wedding focuses specifically on the international destination market, with English-speaking communication end-to-end and a tighter, more selective calendar.
